PURCHASING DEPARTMENT MISSION STATEMENT

The Purchasing Department is committed to obtaining the most desirable goods and services to meet the County's operational needs at the lowest possible cost; and to remain in compliance with Otero County Purchasing Resolution and the New Mexico State Procurement Code. Purchasing is dedicated to providing the best services possible to all Otero County Departments, and vendors, in a fair and equitable manner. Our office will continually strive to ensure an atmosphere of equality to all vendors without regard to undue influences or political pressures. We are committed to protecting the interests of the Otero County taxpayers in all expenditures.
